Pony Club

We’re the first and only official UK Pony Club Riding Centre in our area – and in fact, the whole of Portugal! We joined the Pony Club family in July 2025 and can’t wait to share the fun with you.

Here at our Pony Club, Saturdays are full of adventure! Kids can ride, earn badges, play super-fun games, and join friendly competitions that celebrate every little victory. With our step-by-step Progressive Awards, they can learn at their own pace and even work towards formal Pony Club tests if they wish.

Each session includes a mix of exciting activities – caring for the horses (including grooming and tack care), both classroom and hands-on learning towards badges, and a riding lesson or ride out.

Pony Club runs from 09:30 to 13:30 on Saturdays, with extra action-packed sessions during school holidays whenever Claire is here. Our team makes every moment safe, exciting, and full of smiles, helping young riders grow their skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of horses.

Members should wear long trousers and sensible shoes, and bring a drink and snack. If the weather’s wet, please pack a waterproof coat and boots.

Tiffany's Riding Centre is easily found on the main road, EN125, 7 kms west of the town of Lagos, between the villages of Espiche and Almádena, in the Algarve, Portugal. We are less than ten minutes drive from the resorts in Lagos, Praia da Luz, Burgau and Budens.
